The bitter waters of Marah
Exodus 15:22-27
22
And Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea and out into the wilderness of Shur,
and went three days in the desert without finding water.
23
And they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were
bitter: therefore they named Mara. [A]
24
And the people murmured against Moses, saying: What shall we drink?
25
And Moses cried to the LORD and the LORD showed him a tree, and cast it into
the waters and the waters were made sweet. They gave them
statutes and ordinances, and there he proved;
26
and said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God and
do what is right in his eyes, and give ear to His commandments and keep all his
statutes, none of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians will send to you; because I am the Lord your healer.
27
And they came to Elim, where were twelve springs and seventy palm trees and
they camped there beside the waters.
The
people of Israel had left Egypt, their place of slavery and what they thought
it was comfort at the same time, because they thought that they had everything
they liked and need it. But
it was God's divine plan to set them free from all slavery and to take them to
a land of blessing. For this, the
people of Israel should go through a process. After
leaving Egypt and pass through the Red Sea, they walked three days in the
desert. Just
imagine the heat, the strong sun heating their bodies and all this causes
thirst and without drinking water it was a torture. After three day, the people
of Israel arrived to a place where there was water but bitter in their hopelessness
they murmured complaint about it. But at that time God revealed to Moses how to
heal those bitter water, once more the glory of God greatly before her eyes. The
Bible tells us that in that place God was testing them (the
people of Israel )and God spoke and told them that if they remained obedient to
whatever God may command, they would be
blessed in all areas of their lives. And
then they rest in the shade of three and abundant water.
How
often have you not feel like walking for days, weeks or even years in circles
and cannot find this solution you need, on occasions you may say that God does not hear you, and God hears
everything.
But
let me tell you today that all you can be happening is part of what God is
doing in your life so you can reach this land of blessing that He has promised,
well prepared and with the tools necessary for you to be good administrator of His kingdom. The
criticisms and complaints never let you progress to your divine purpose and God
has designed for you rather you blur the vision and bring more problems. even
if you see your water of solution bitter
cries to God decrees the word upon the negative situations, illnesses, financial
problems, whatever the situation is, speaks the word of God that will cause that
the waters become good to drink it. When
you rest in God, God Himself will make
you relax under palm trees, and drinking water sources will surround you. Psalm 23 says:
1Jehová is my shepherd, I shall not want.
2 In
green pastures He makes me lie;
Beside the still
waters He leadeth me.
3 He restoreth my soul;
He
guides me in paths of righteousness for his name.
4 Though I
walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will
fear no evil: for thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy
staff they comfort me.
5 You
prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You
anoint my head with oil, my cup runneth over.
6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
And in the
house of the Lord will dwell for long days.
Free
yourself from worry, tears, sorrows, complaints, depression, anxieties, and now
let God through His Word that is Jesus
to take control of your situation. Do
not see big the problems for God nothing is impossible, at the same time when you cry out to God at that same moment Hi is sending you a response to your question. Only
wait with patience and with faith,
resting on Him, Jesus is your shepherd who guides you to still waters and green
pastures where you will lack nothing. If
you are sick or a family member Jesus heal you if there are problems ECONOMIC,
Jesus will open the doors necessary for you abundance.
From
now on have faith, to proclaim and declare the word of God in your life and in
yours, believe if God said it will.
